Le Simplegadi
Le Simplegadi is a fully refereed ‘A’ ranked online journal which began publication in 2003 and seeks to disseminate research in modern languages and literatures, particularly anglophone, with a scientific and editorial board of international scholars. The publication is open to innovative contributions which can promote ‘equalitarian’ and collaborative principles and practices towards individuals, societies, literatures and cultures from a multiplicity of points of view from the canon to contemporary literatures (hybridisation of languages and literatures, migrant writing, intercultural and transcultural identities and subjectivities, post-colonial studies, subaltern studies, and related areas). The main aim is to foster critical perspectives beyond hegemonic and hierarchical models of culture and promote viable alternatives and multidisciplinary discourse practices of partnership and mutuality.
English Literature
English Literature. Theories, Interpretations, Contexts was founded within the National Association of Teachers of English Studies (ANDA) in 2014. Presently, the journal is run by an independent board of scholars in English literature. It provides room for a critical analysis of issues and themes concerning English literature, also in a comparative view. The journal wants to promote a multidisciplinary approach to literature, to its relations with the various fields of knowledge, with culture, society, science, and the arts. It is also proposed as a privileged place for the discussion of the tools and strategies used by literature, according to various theoretical perspectives. The journal promotes the discussion and exchange of ideas among researchers, teachers and young scholars at both an international and national level.
